Cosplay plans? I have those.

More than I can actually finish for this year's Kumoricon actually. Also I might be going to Sakura con maybe (when is it again?), possibly. But I need an iPhone first. Because reasons involving logistics and a Schätzchen. So shut up. <_< >_> <_<

HETALIA:

-Germany, (Luftwaffe uniform. That's the blue one people): Completed, with the exception of a few tweaks. The third year of tweaks, but by god it will be /finished/ this time I swear. I made the whole thing with 3 1/2 yards of wool fabric I'm ahead of the game.

-Germany, (Wehrmacht uniform. Which would be the green one, yes you're right guy in the back): Is currently being a comforter on my bed while I make a comforter... I need to actually start it, 6 months is enough despite my OCD for details probably(?), I'll be sewing it with a machine this time... I found the /perfect/ rank pips though yesterday~ Now somebody explain why the hell I always end up with Lieutenant's stuff.

-Germany, (Afrika uniform): Is about 20% finished kinda, again I need to sew it. Mostly this is a 'bought' cosplay, I just need to make a shirt and find money and socks now that I've found the perfect colour /and/ material content fabric (hell yes, go fabric depot). And oh yeah more contacts, I need to buy more blue contacts...

-Germany, (Panzertuppen uniform): Though it's from a fan art, would people get it or would I just be that guy with the portable loudspeaker? I have no stuff for this, it's one of those 'if I won the lottery and learned how radios work' things, so probably I'll start it next year aha...ha...yeaaah...

-Germany, (HetaWeen costume): It's about half done, we'll see if it beats one of my others to the con though, I'm pretty stoked about one of my others and it's not even from an anime /but it still totally counts/. Mostly just the leather-work left, and that's it. Whoo~

HISTORIC:

Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen: I am so incredibly stoked you have no freaking idea. He's just too cute I can't even. Can I just build a time machine already? Fuck science, I saw that movie I just need a mailbox and some sweet lake-side property.
Realistically his uniform is a freaking nightmare though. Simple enough, it just doesn't quite match anything in my book of /everything/. I read books, I know why, he was a very 'this is me and I'm doing it my way' kind of guy, I'm cool with that, I can identify (obviously or I wouldn't be so excited). He really wanted to be an Ulan and he made it and was proud of it, I can't fault him for wearing the uniform for everything, but is the front sewn on on that side or not, I need more footage internet don't disappoint me, I've seen it I just don't know where you're hiding it. Thank goodness for old film and his habit of always having his hands in his pockets or I'd be having pocket angst again, and that was not so much fun. I have so much stuff I still need to buy for this it's insane, buttons alone are going to cost me 50$ (I want it up to snuff, I don't have a regulations book for nothing you know), plus hat, plus fabric, plus shoes, plus medals I don't have yet, plus etc... So we'll see, but I'm excited for it so it gets priority over some others.

OTHER..?:

I think at some point I had other plans, but then I got slightly obsessed and now I don't remember what they were...

I'm getting money for a job later in the month, should I get buttons or a hat? I'm leaning both ways at different times.
